I recently got a new five-in-one reflector (thanks to a surprise gift from my mother-in-law), and since I got a haircut today, I thought it would be fun to try out the new toy for my quarterly self-portrait.
Dan also posed for me, and doesn't he look handsome? We've both lost weight over the past year, and (of course) it shows more on him than me... he's getting narrower by the day.
I love how bright these shots are, despite having been taken near sunset. Want to try it? I set a custom white balance (around 4300K) while shooting to temper the golden sun, then upped the exposure in processing.
