Franklin Bruno is a music critic for The Village Voice and Time Out New York. He's also a writer, musician... and mighty-fine fella. A while ago, I was flattered to receive an email from Franklin inquiring about using my photography on the cover of a forthcoming book. Once the deal was made, I had to wait... and keep the secret... and wait some more.
I'm happy to report that The Accordion Repertoire was released by Edge Books on November 6.
The cover features tilt shift photography of my Los Angeles neighborhood, Los Feliz, which was taken while Griffith Park was glowing with a wildfire.
